Instrumental Lesson Information

Lessons are conducted on-site by highly knowledgeable instructors that are all qualified to work with children and have played their instruments for years.

Lessons are available for adults and children.

❝ Where can I enquire about lessons? ❞

As the lesson slots are "first-come, first-served", we highly recommend contacting us about claiming a slot in-store at our location on King Street, Kingaroy. This way we can have the conversation face-to-face with you and it is easier to answer all your questions and provide up-to-date information. Thank you for understanding.

❝ When do lessons take place? ❞

Students have one lesson a week at the same time on the same day alongside the QLD Department of Education-implemented terms.

Since many of our students are school-aged, our lessons usually run in after-school time slots (eg, 2.30pm - 6.30pm). However, we can/do run lessons as early as 12pm, depending on the teacher and their other students.

If your lesson falls on a public or local holiday on which we are closed, your lesson will not take place.

For more information about term dates please refer to the Department of Education's website or enquire in-store.

❝ How much do you charge? ❞

We charge $35.00 for a 30 minute lesson.

When you join, we will ask you for an "upfront" payment worth one lesson. This is in case you miss a lesson and don't give us sufficient notice, we can still pay the teacher for their time. This "upfront" lesson can also be used when you choose to pay for a lesson if you are short on money for the week but still would like to attend your lesson.

At the end of the term, if you have not used your "upfront" payment, we will carry it across to the next term. If it has been used, we will ask you to repay it at the beginning of the following term.

❝ What if I cannot make it to my lesson/I am late? ❞

If you are unable to attend a lesson, we recommend that you let us know as soon as you are aware, so we have sufficient time to contact other students and move their lessons to close the empty gap.

In the case where you do not give us enough notice, we will ask you the next time you come in if you can pay for the lesson slot so we can still pay the teacher. Using your "upfront" payment is an option here.

If the student is sick or there is a medical issue/emergency, etc, we tend to be more forgiving, but giving us notice as quick as you can will help us greatly.

If you know you will be late by a few minutes or you would like to change your time to later as a once-off occurrence, please also let us know as soon as you can.
