Polara Deluxe guitars also boast a pair of high-output HB-2+ humbucking pickups with Alnico V magnets and classic Guild dual-rail covers.

Dual Volume and Tone controls and a 3-way pickup selector deliver an extensive range of tones—which, combined with push-pull coil-split switches in the Tone controls, offer eight different switching combinations, including several single-coil options.
